My name is Tom Jeffers, and I teach 6th, 7th, & 8th grade language arts. I grew up in Afton, TN and graduated from Greeneville High School in 1988. I received a B.S. in English from East Tennessee State University in 1991, an M.A. in English from East Tennessee State University in 1993 and a M.A.T. in Education from East Tennessee State University in 1996. I have been married to my wife, Jamie for 21 years, and we have 6 children (Chrissy, Cassy, Tyler, Emily, Jacob and Kaitlyn) I am by nature a big geek and a voracious reader. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a huge Conan the Barbarian, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and comic book fan as well as a pop culture guru. I love my job, and the town of Edinburg is very dear to me. My church and faith are very important to me. I love the simple life and am a \"Hobbit\" at heart.
